KAWS “Passing Through” Companion at Harbour City HK
Kaws’ giant 5-meter high Companion has finally landed at Harbour City Hong Kong. In addition to the figure, Kaws created a mural that lines a nearby staircase.

An excellent new make up of the Aina Chukka has made it to the UK. “Nike have been getting their chukka-on lately after the success of the Zoom Toki. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the union of their old-world Woven look on a chukka-cut, but this is an altogether more subdued affair that builds on the appeal of premium pieces like the Royal Mid that have had some popularity lately. The Aina Chukka does it’s job well with a certain dignity, making for a casual introduction for a model that’s destined to reappear in future lines

Mark Dean Veca “As Cold As They Come”
Bigshot Toy Works announces Bigshot Fine Art, a new division focused on gallery-quality multiples. The first release under the BFA label is “As Cold As They Come”, a cast pewter and chrome-plated revolver based on Mark Dean Veca’s painting of the same name. The piece is Mark’s interpretation of Michael Corleone’s revolver from “The Godfather”. Limited to 100 pieces worldwide, this piece will be available direct from Bigshot in November 2010.

We now have a look at the Akuma P-Rod IV from Nike SB’s Street Fight pack. Feature in a deep blue canvas, the sneaker is accented with a bright red Akuma heel logo. As with the other Street Fighter sneakers, these include a sketch of the character on the insole.

We get a look at an interesting House 33 design on the classic New Balance 576. The sneaker features a leather upper with an all over House 33 design and further H33 hit on the tongue embroidered. Unfortunately it seems to be a one of one.
